BCP234 - Whiskey Mountain

N50° 50.113’ W114° 35.481’ (my GPSr).

I have been meaning to go and find this cap for quite a while and today was the day. Maybe this is a quick find for ATV riders but not for us poor hikers. I had a very hot and strenuous hike up Whiskey Mountain today using Oil Industry roads, various ATV trails and a little bushwacking for good measure. The cap was an easy find once I got to the top!

On the return journey, I realized that Banded Peak was nicely centered in an old seismic line with Forgetmenot Ridge in the foreground (two new caches up there ), so I took a photo.

Thanks for selecting this cap for your cache page ofth.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
