Found it G & E found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

BCP705 Coliseum Mountain

I explained my route here a little better in the log for the nearby cache but basically I found that approaching this cap from the NE is much nicer than the SW side. It's much higher and steeper, but the rocks don't roll away as soon as you step on them. Plus, you don't have to hike uphill towards the peak. The cap was a nice easy one. I didn't lug a camera up but I did bring my old phone to snap some shots of the area. Not my best idea as most of the photos are so low quality they aren't worth posting anywhere. I also can't seem to get them off the phone and on to here. Hopefully I'll figure it out!

Overall I found this to be an exceptionally nice hike. Even if the hiking doesn't interest you, all the potential finds up here should! I'm also glad that this ended up being my 50th virtual find.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
