Had a great hike up Wilcox Pass trail, visited the nearby Wilcox Pass virtual cache, and then found this brass cap. Along the way, I encountered a horned lark, some ground squirrels, and many lovely views. The cap itself is on a rock outcropping and was a quick find that needed no cleaning. I suspect it wasn't quite as easy for surveyors to find without a GPSr, but maybe there was a big rock cairn here previously. Thanks for another great cap.
