Found it hunthikers found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 09 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP074 Calgary (Nose Hill 2)
A geowalk up on to NHP again today with the objective of the last 3 brass caps within the park area and maybe at attempt at a puzzle find. We parked on S parking of 14th St NW and walked up onto the edge and headed N with the geokids picking up the caps as we made a loop.
This was the third cap stop of the outing. Once at GZ one obvious divot stood out but a probe deep gave nothing. After a few minutes we opted for the newly discovered compass approach which soon proved it's worth revealing the cap in the grass at ground level about 1m N of the divot and 1.5m W of the track. BCP074 Calgary (Nose Hill 2) no digging needed!
infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
