Found it The Dawntreaders found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Wednesday, September 15, 2010Alberta, Canada

BCP195

I was ever thankful I took my "arm extender" along with me so that I could reach down to the bottom of the hole. There was a layer of dirt that needed to be scrapped off in order for me to see the 'brass'. Being dry and very fine in nature, it kept sloughing back onto the cap. The next finder should bring a shop-vac along and suck some of that stuff out of there.

While laying on my stomach, with my head in the hole, I wondered what the passing motorists and afternoon joggers thought; this guys probably nuts, better steer clear of him!

Oh well, it all in a days work, isn't it.

Thanks, The Dawntreaders

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
