Tuesday, July 12, 2016Isle of Man

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar for some caching on the Isle of Man for a few days and praying for good whether. We have few specific objectives but intend to chase down as many Church Micros and SideTracked as we can, the four YOSMs, as many different icons as possible, a few that will help us towards a number of challenges we have set ourselves, some that took our fancy and anything else that we happen to come across!

Day 2: Snaefell
Actually, we only spent a couple of hours here but it was the high spot of the day and not just literally. Regrettably it was rather misty so we didn't get the best of views. The rest of the day saw us complete a clockwise loop round the top of the island and back to Douglas. An excellent and very varied haul today!

I thought I had this sussed out but was only half correct! However, after only a small amount of faffing about we were off to the final and a quick find.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
