Sunday, 19 March 2017Värmland, Sweden

Today promised to be a nice and sunny day, so we wanted to go hiking... and if possible grab some caches along the way.
We had already done some of the hikes and caches in this area and we always liked them very much. Today proved to be no different.
Nice nature, good track, some lovely views and well maintained caches.
The only obstacle was the snow.
In Forshaga the last snow disappeared over a week ago, but when we arrived at the parking spot it quickly became clear that over here winter wasn't completely gone yet.
Well, most of the snow was gone... except on the track itself. :/
It didn't slow us down to much, but some parts were a bit tricky. Especially during the first half of the track. The second half, in the nature reserve, was completely snow free.
The caches itself were pretty easy to find. I think we found all of them within a minute.
Doing the track and getting back to the car took us about 4 hours.

So, if you like a good hike and want to do some caches, this is the place to be... just wait until all the snow is gone :P

Tftc!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
