Found it hunthikers found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Tuesday, 10 January 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP140 Calgary (14 St NW)
2nd attempt in a week. On the first attempt, GZ was moving around and with the snow it wasn't clear to me where I should focus my attention. It was too cold for too long a stay. Today, I had some more knowledge and knew roughly where I need to be based on a context picture. It was still -20C with some breeze and once at GZ I was disappointed to see a thin hard packed layer of snow on the ground. I chipped at it with the edge of a boot but no joy. I gave up and turned to walk back W and there it was... :)
The streak lives on!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
