Found it gumbyphv found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Thursday, 11 August 2016Alberta, Canada

I found BCP726 Banff Coach Road.

A few of us were headed down to spend three days hiking in and around Egypt Lake and my brother and I were going to meet in Canmore for some last minute supplies. We both left Red Deer at the same time but he had a few stops to make so I knew that I was a little ways ahead of him. Pretty much as soon as we left Red Deer my daughter fell asleep, when I got here she still hadn't woke up so I figured she wouldn't mind if I made a detour to come and grab this cap. She half woke up when I pulled over but by the time I was back in the vehicle she was asleep again. Then it was off to Canmore to meet up with the rest of the crew. Thanks for the really interesting cap and for breaking up my morning drive. TFTBC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
