Found it Citizen_22 found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 29 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP074 Calgary (Nose Hill 2)

I was out for a short bike ride this morning and rode over to this cap. I looked for this one a few summers ago but it eluded me. Certainly the long grass keeps it well hidden in the summer and there are plenty of divots in the ground to make you think it's there (but it's not). Knowing that is was recently found I assumed that the grass isn't very long yet and there would be just enough grass pushed aside that I would be able to find it. And that was the case as I was able to spot it in minutes! Nice to avenge a DNF on this cap! Cap info sent to CO. Thanks again for setting up the caps!

(edit: I had deleted my original log by accident!)

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
