Out on a morning caching run with greenducks today. This one wasn't our main focus, but I knew we'd be going right by, so I had it loaded in my GPS. Besides, I had been here once before and had trouble at stage one and wanted to try again now that it was re-enabled. Got to stage 1 coords and saw a couple of things that piqued my curiosity. Looked at both and didn't notice anything and started looking around. Then I went back to the items I had checked and looked closers. Well, what do you know, there are some coordinates here, but barely readable. We did our best to discern the coords and they seemed reasonable and not too far off, so we head to stage 2. I'm looking in one direction and greenducks says 'hey, look over here'. Hmm, that's definitely a cache worthy place. We wandered all around it, up and down, and on top. I was looking in one place, then turned towards greenducks and saw that it was right in front of her. Great cache! However, the log was completely soaked, so I added a small piece of paper with our names on it, but the log should be replaced with a zip-loc baggie added. This cache gets a fav point for sure.

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
