Found it BaSHful found All About a Challenge # 8 - Eight Counties

Sunday, December 29, 2013South East England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar for a short day's caching in absolutely glorious weather, with the sun shining out of a clear blue sky for most of the day. Our main objective for the day was Imber village in the middle of Salisbury plain. It lies on restricted military land with access only allowed a few days a year, so we were very keen to tick this off when the opportunity presented itself. Naturally we also took the opportunity to nab other caches in the general vicinity and along our route that furthered our various long term objectives / challenges.

As soon as I saw this published I was certain I would qualify, though it wasn't until yesterday that I updated my web page with my qualifying caches. A short diversion on our outward trip and a swift find at GZ to get us off the mark for the day.

PS. In the last week I've collected 4 "Motorway Mayhem" caches but I'm still a long way short of qualifying for that challenge!

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
