This was an easy one to find and a tough one to access. The mini-manhole cover was right where it was supposed to be. I cleaned a bit of dirt from around the rim, but my chisel wasn't able to generate enough leverage to lift the deep-seated cover. After wiping off some more dirt, I realized there was an indentation near the centre of the cover, which is where someone with the right tool could easily lift the cover up and away. I tried the chisel again; still no luck. But my hiking pole easily generated the necessary leverage, and off the cover came. Cleaned the cap a bit, and took some pictures. Street wasn't at all busy on this early Sunday morning. Thanks for another cap.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
