I decided this weekend to grab some caches that I have been eyeing. I made a circuit from Cresco to Guttenberg, IA and then up to La Crosse, WI. I had the two geodogs with me and they enjoyed the caches with a nice walk built in. It wasn't a numbers run, just grabbing some caches that peaked my interest.

Well, I at least have the coordinates to stage 2 now. I stopped in on the Wisconsin side of the cheddar curtain to grab the necessary info. Someday, I might actually get to the physical cache.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
