Found it BaSHful found A Relic Challenge

Wednesday, July 30, 2014Northern Scotland, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar for a six day trip to Scotland with the intention of attending the Mega in Ayr. The plan involved visiting all the (Scottish) mainland counties and targeted Church Micros, SideTracked, Motorway Mayhem, YOSMs, Challenge caches, Puzzles and as many of the rarer cache types that we could manage, to accumulate nine different icons in total. A little rain affected but all objectives achieved.

Day 2 - Linlithgow to Fort William
A few splatters of rain in the morning and a few showers in the afternoon, enough to very slightly curtail the planned schedule. However, a broadly successful day.

To start the day there were no less than 18 challenge caches to collect, all except one being found easily. See my web page for details of my qualifying caches.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
