Mrs BVPete, Brutus and I decided to drive up to Rocky Mountain House and points west to find a few caps today. Our first stop, other than the odd bathroom break, was Nordegg. Mrs BVPete has never been here before while I was here so long ago I can’t remember a thing about it! So, it was very nice to briefly explore it, a lot of infrastructure type construction is happening right now. Anyway we parked at the Community Church and made the short journey to the cap. It took me a few minutes to sort out what were newly fallen leaves and what was cap; both are exactly the same colour. I finally uncovered it and took the photo shot, and then it was on to Fish Lake.

Thanks for the cap located in such an interesting and historic town ofth.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
