Owner Maintenance kunarion performed maintenance for Grizzly Adam

Thursday, 20 July 2017Georgia

Wow, what a mess! I found the container open, the lid was in a separate place, and a bunch of stuff from the container was strewn around the area, all wet and ruined. How long has it been like this? For months, I guess. Worst of all, the Travel Bug isn't here.

I dried it out as best I could on this hot, steamy, wet afternoon, put it all back together and put Adam back in his spot. That required a lot more bear care than I expected.

And just as arrived in the cache area, a monsoon started. Pouring raining like it was from a fire hose. Thunder and lightning, too. The trails were little rivers. While putting the cache back together, I tried to not get completely drenched. I was not successful.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
