Found it BaSHful found My Favourite Challenge Cache - Silver

Monday, April 28, 2014Southern England, United Kingdom

Off to Ramsbottom for a six day holiday walking and caching in the Pennines with an eye to picking up some high terrain caches.

Day 1: The journey up.

My first stop off, about 1 hour 40 minutes into the journey was for a challenge cache. However, a little research had revealed then were no fewer than seven challenge caches in the area, all of which I qualified for!

Seventh and final cache before continuing the journey North. I went straight to the right place but failed to spot it. After a couple of minutes faffing about, had another proper look and there it was.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
