BCP681 Pi Day Cap, 925 metres
We walked the short distance to this cap and wondered what was the function of the buildings to the north. DanOCan provided the answer in his log, that the buildings are the remnants of Galt 8 Coal Mine. I had a look on line, and the mine operated from 1935 to 1957, and there is an initiative to restore the buildings. Thanks for the cap with a great view of the High Level Bridge to the east, and a really cool coal mine to the north.
