Found it XRN95 found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Monday, October 10, 2005Alberta, Canada

BCP135-East Coulee
Another 3 visit cap and finally success. Seems like this one is hell bent of being covered. I got to the marker post and looked for a sign of where the cap might be. I knew it was fairly close to the post so I decided to dig. I could tell that some ground was much softer than the rest..hmm..I kept diggin in the soft stuff and then dink, dink. The cap was probably 8-10 inches under the ground. I had a feeling that the cap would fill in again so I grabbed a wooden stake, placed it directly over the cap and filled the hole in to hold the stake. It should be an easy find with a bit of digging. Thanks, this one was fun!!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
