Success! To keep these changes, hit “Submit Log Entry” at the bottom of the page.

Hmm. Some of your log formatting is not supported. You might want to remove it and use Markdown formatting.

First find in over a year and it's not even on the LCG! Bummer!!

I was visiting Hagar Mountain with a new muggle friend, Jim. I had my GPSr loaded but I wasn't going to make him cache unless we got close. We got close. I read the clue out loud and walked around a bit to let my GPSr pick a spot. While I was walking around at a higher altitude, Jim said "I found something" and he pulled out an ammo can. The man has potential!

When I looked at the cache title I saw the familiar seldom|seen split|cache title, but ignored it since I was out of his territory, or so I thought. I was surprised to see the original logbook from 2006 and handwriting that I recognize inside the front cover.

Thanks for keeping this one going, sweetlife and for the orginal placement s|s. Jim is probably going to be disappointed when he finds out there are not many caches as cool as this one. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view on a gorgeous fall day. We will be back, maybe the next time it's on the LCG or even before 'cuz I love to hike on rocks! This gets a well deserved favorite point.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
