Out spending a perfect warm fall day chasing down 15 beautifully-placed Waterfall caches around Marinette County. We were able to find every single cache we went after, and credit that, in no small part, to the great investment the County has made in showcasing its pride in being the 'Waterfalls Capital of Wisconsin'.

But without a doubt, this was only possible because of the truly dedicated and gifted cache owners, who've taken great care to ensure there is always an aspect of adventure and precious beauty surrounding the hunt and grab of a findable cache, that is supported by an enticing description, solid coordinates and great hints. Thank you all for giving us the gift of a joyful day chasing down beautiful streams and trails, allowing us to make and take precious memories together. This is exactly why we find geocaching so compelling and fulfilling!

We also recognize that a cut and paste log us frowned upon by many cache owners; to that, we express our apologies, and ask for forgiveness. We truly do appreciate all you have done for us, shared with us, and given to us! On this grand day, we simply bit off more goodness than we can chew........................

This is an especially beautiful waterfalls arrangement! Why name it 'Horseshoe Falls'? We pondered this all the while we were closing in on this falls; beginning with the first time we saw the cache name, building once we finally made it up here and saw the first 'welcome to . . . ' sign along the road, then even more-so all along the trail! And then we finally spied the Falls, the marvelous creation was revealed, and the name made perfect sense!

Thanks, sweetlife, for keeping this precious Lil Otter gem alive and strong! Here comes another Favorite! (P.S. Great spot for the cache, really needed the hint, and all is in great shape!)

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
