This one took us ages. It took us nearly half an hour to get to the first three numbers and then my GPS just totally locked up. Nothing would work so in the end I decided to take the batteries to reset it. Then with it started up I selected the Wherigo again. However to my dismay I found that the first letter I had before was now wrong. So I had to go through all the pain of finding the new set of letters in the correct order. At least this time I didn't have to keep going over the bridge whenever I got one wrong.
So I finally got it finished in just over an hour. Maybe I have set a record for slowness (I met some people at the chip wagon afterwards who had done it in ten minutes).
One of the people who was doing this at the same time as me was Geo-Myck. I tried to remember how I had come across his name before. We met again later and then discovered that our wives had earlier had been chatting together in the main hall. Small world.
Quite a long walk to get the final. I arrived there about the same time as Long Man, and we had a little chat about the Challenge "pause".
