With the announcement that this cache would soon be going the way of the dinosaurs I decided to get out and find a few more caps. I have found 59 to date and enjoyed every single one of them! I wasn't sure how successful I would be in finding caps with the snow flying today but this one proved to be a very quick find. I pulled up to the survey marker and found the cap right at its base. I was a little shocked to see how beat up this cap was but managed to get some numbers off it to send to OFTH. The view of the river was also nice although the weather is coming down the valley fast! Thanks for the cap OFTH! (Not sure how many more times I'll get to say that.)

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
