this is why we love geocaching: it takes you to spots where you would never should go if there was not a cache, but what a pity then...

After driving the, well 'nervous breaking down road' with our fiat panda, and hoping not to see somebody coming down (where the hell should you pass the other one ) we parked the car at the end of the road (that was more clear than the side of the road !)
After good looking at the spoilerfoto (glad we took it, since we earlier had seen a snake at another part of corfu) we clearly found the right place to lift the cache.

The most interesting part of this cache was AFTER finding it , a new experience with geocaching. Although the rain we decided to climb down the rocky path. Slowly but secure we came at the entrance. After seeing some interesting bones, we decided to climb a little bit further and tried to identifie what it had been. But maybe someone else can tell us, we don't know it...
A little bit scary, so we didn't get into the cave without safety equipement as p.e. a robe or helm or something but finding this place was spectacular enough!

It took us a little while to turn the car the other way at the road, but we managed it

Thanks! It was great!

who knows what this is (or better: was)??

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
