BCP336 - Porters Hill
The toughest part of this cap was finding a safe and legal approach. After checking out a number of potential approaches, I settled on a route that was 500 - 600 metres from the cap.
My approach to the cap involved travel through a deep coulee and across some pleasant grassland. I ran into a herd of 15 - 18 deer tucked into the coulee on the way to the cap.
I quickly found the cap which is mounted above ground level in concrete. The views of the river valley from just beyond the cap are outstanding - TFTH and the pictures are on the way!
