Found it BaSHful found Gardeners Delight (Holehird)

Thursday, August 13, 2015North West England, United Kingdom

This year I am taking my (by myself) holiday in the Lake District, staying at the Ambleside end of Windermere in a pleasant little hotel. My motivation is a desire to revisit this beautiful area that I have visited many times in the past, though not for many years, to see if I can still make it to the tops of the hills and, of course, to pick up a few caches, many aimed at furthering the many challenges I have set myself, including qualifying for one or two challenge caches.

Day 7 - Angletarn Pikes and Red Screes
Object one was a very tempting trio of terrain 5's. Objective two was a tasty / challenging T/D combination. Objective three was, as it has been all week, to get a birthday cache. Excellent weather though I do believe I have a touch of sunburn, not something that happens often around these parts!

With the first two objectives achieved it was time to head over to Holehird Gardens for the birthday caches.

This was to be the only find but one is enough. After a little trial and error I found my way into the wood. The paths have all but disappeared but I managed to get to GZ OK, albeit with a bit of bushwhacking along the way, where I managed a quick find.

PS. "Kate" is ambiguous!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
