Found it huffinpuffin2 found THE LAURELS (LITTLE PEOPLE SERIES)

Wednesday, January 9, 2013Wisconsin

We found the information on the Little People to be truly interesting, and wish we had our grandkids here to share it with, to work on the puzzle solve ( think they could have cracked this one ), as well as to lead us in the hunt for the cache. They likely would have made a quicker find than we did.......

We truly believe The Laurels were out and about while we were searching for the cache, running through tunnels under the snow and moving the cache from place to place. We certainly spent a long time searching for the container, and if not for a generous nudge from the CO, may have missed out on the pleasure of making the find!

Once we had the container in-hand, we asked for the Little People's permission to take a peak inside.....we think we were given the OK to proceed, but the soft drumming we thought we heard may have been from a grouse or turkey or whatever other drumming creatures inhabit that part of the woodlands.

We found everything to be in fine shape with the container and contents, and we replaced as found, and kept watch over it for a few minutes, just to see if it would stay put - which it did......but is it still there now?

Hah! This was one fun puzzle cache to solve and find, and we thank you, CacheBott, for the enjoyable time we had with it!

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
