Found it dingoagogo found Turtle Creek Flood Plain: Beloit Night Life

Monday, May 27, 2013Wisconsin

I've wanted to do this cache with the whole family since it was published! Unfortunately, numerous calendar conflicts, commitments, weather, and life in general kept getting in the way. Finally, the stars aligned, the weather held out, and we grabbed our flashlights and headed for the trail. The kids and I found a few caches earlier in the day, which brought our cache count up to 599. That makes this #600!

Sunset was about 8:22pm this evening, and we arrived at the parking area around 8:15. We walked over to the first waypoint coordinates and started looking. It took us a while to spot it. I finally located it at about 8:30, and we were off. It was now starting to get steadily darker, and the darker it got, the easier the markers were to spot. We took our time and enjoyed the walk, and the kids had a lot of fun spotting each marker as we went along. At about 8:45 we reached our destination, and after a short search, had the cache in hand. We all got a kick out of the container. Very cute!

Lil'Dingo and I signed the log, we snapped a couple pics with the container, and then neatly rehid it. We headed back up the trail to grab one more cache which we thought was going to be our last stop of the night. As it turned out, we ended up meeting Dudenblt just after he found his honorary cache, and then we were able to get an FTF on the way home! Some great caches, a milestone find, an FTF, and spending time with the whole family... What a super night!

Great cache, Cheviac72! Favorite point for sure!

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
