I was able to park pretty close by, following a sign to a pitch and put which never really materialized, but no matter. After a bit on the paved path, a side path through the trees promised to serve as a short cut and did it ever come through! With all the recent rain, the path was good and mucky but it took me straight over to where the this cap lives. I was like finding the back door to the treasure and couldn't have worked out better.

Having read previous logs, I knew this one wasn't really close to anything, and might prove difficult. When I turned the corner and saw a new lath with pink tape flying from it's top, I laughed out loud. The search was short and sweet, and pink was the key word for this one for sure.

Thanks for the cap!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
