Found it The Geers found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Thursday, 18 June 2015Alberta, Canada

BCP010 - Calgary 14 st SW

A 7 hour bike trip today where I made the goal to get 10 brass caps and this doesn't even help satisfy a challenge! Wow! Definitely the coolest brass cap I've come across so far. I didnt believe it when I saw it on the map, but I just needed one more to hit ten for the day. The sun was setting! I read the hint just to be sure before I headed over. Sure enough... I don't know how great of a survey marker this would make, but it certainly is cool. From the date on the cap, which I haven't seen on other caps, I'm sure this one was installed 'especially'!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
