Found it colincactus found Castle Bottom

Friday, April 19, 2013Southern England, United Kingdom

Recently I've been looking around for old caches to fill up the empty slots in my "Finds by Placed Month" grid. My daughter noticed this one as it happens to be pretty close to her boyfriends house. He hadn't been geocaching before so he accompanied us to this one.

It was dusk when we set off. He knew the way to Castle Bottom though and also showed us the old Blackbushe runways. A nice area - we saw a deer near the GZ. It took us a minute to spot the hint item, but after that it was a quick find.

Took a prickly dog toy and left a little statuette of Jermain Defoe.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
