Found it BaSHful found 2x Double Grid Challenge

Thursday, March 12, 2015South East England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar for the second time this week for a "short" outing. Well, it was supposed to be short - about five hours is what I had in mind. Well, with hindsight, I can see that was certainly (very) optimistic but I never thought we would stagger back to the car a fraction after nine hours later having been forced to skip by the last four caches because it was barely light enough to see to walk (no torches!). Still, the weather was good, the walking pleasant and a few good ticks achieved.

The Godstone to Bletchingley circuit was to be the primary focus but first a handful of other caches. This was our second and really should have been a simple cache 'n' dash. However, after much searching we were close to giving up. Back up for one final look around and I spot the wire that the pot should be attached too. A good look around back at ground level but it's clear it's gone. An exchange of emails and kind permission to log a "find", albeit of only the fastening!

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
