Found it BaSHful found Our Winchester Roots

Thursday, June 21, 2018Southern England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar on a wonderful Summer's day that had way more daylight hours than we the energy to cache for. Much sunshine throughout the day but never too hot for comfort. We continued to focus on old caches, trading quantity for quality (generally) but also managed a few Village Halls, a Fine Pair, a Church Micro and a few others and finishing with an event. Just a couple of disappointments, one at least that we hope to rectify on a subsequent visit to the area but overall an excellent day!

Final cache before the event. We parked in one of the bays on Baring Road and made the short walk to the viewpoint, though we only paused briefly there. Then on to GZ and a quick find. What an excellent hide! Have a fav point for both hide and location!

PS. Happy first birthday!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
