View Geocache Log

Found it rediguana found What a view (Canterbury)

Tuesday, 30 August 2011South Island, New Zealand

Decided to knock this cache off as part of my DGSc challenge - I'll probably add this to the vertical elective ;) Took the direct Summit Track, and it was certainly a bit of a grunter. Got up to the cache in 1h18m, which include a few hundred metres slogging through the snow that was still on the ridge road, and up to a couple of feet deep in places. Lovely view though, as the cache name says. Cache was found with rocks off and lid only just attached. Couldn't tell if it was human or animal muggles. Replaced it and all seemed OK. DOC signs were certainly way out as I went car-cache-cache in 2h flat. Cheers Gav [9699]

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
