Found it narloth found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, 24 September 2010Alberta, Canada

BCP136 - East Coulee

We found the survey post easy enough, but no depression or obvious location of the cap was evident. The bailing bucket left on the survey post indicated that some digging would be in order. Reading previous logs we knew to dig about 12 inches down and thanks to the hint we knew approximately where to dig. After some serious digging and probing with the screwdriver we heard a thunk and aha the cap was revealed. I suspect with the next rain all our hard work of digging will be covered up with mud and the next cacher will have to go through the process all over again. TFTBC!!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
