Found it The Wildleys found Cardigan Island view

Sunday, May 30, 2004South Wales, United Kingdom

What fantastic views! It was a short, easy walk -- surely too easy for such a scenic reward! It was a bright, sunny afternoon on the coast, but it looked cloudy inland. It was totally quiet, except for a light breeze and the gentle lapping of the water below. E looked west and thought, "My home is that way!" S thought, "Poppit Sands is like a second home -- I must have been there at least 15 times in my childhood."

In any case, it was lovely to sit on the stile and contemplate being right on the edge of the map.

Took hedgehog stickers (E had been looking for these for ages! We didn't know there was a website for them); left mini padlock.

Thanks for bringing us here, past some darling, fluffy chicks on the farm!

Cardigan IslandElizabeth liked the small, conical hill (Foel y Mwnt) just behind the headland.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book.
