Found it condor man found Mission 9: Tunnel of Light

Saturday, October 18, 2008Washington

Couldn't have had a better milestone than this. M9:TOL was number 4400 for me. SWEEEET!!! Have to check this link out. This was what made us take this spur of the moment weekend get away in the first place. http://fbz.geocaches.org/ Planned a spur of the moment trip with duck432 to find the infamous ape and also get the ever growing rare ape icon. Flew into Seatac grabbed a rental car and off we went to a local bike shop to get hooked up. After that we on a quest for the ape. The tunnel was way cool, it was all I hoped it would be. It was fun dodging the water seeping from the top, man that water is cold. The little spec of light from the other side of the tunnel almost never seemed to get any bigger at times. After making it through the tunnel we were treated to great views of the mountains all around. Me and Duck432 made our way to GZ and got all gitty like school girls after the find. Cache was full of swag and quite a few trackables. Stayed there for awhile to soak it all up. Traded some trackables and then put the ape to rest again, until the next cacher comes around. Thanks for the great experience, as well as keeping this one alive. The quest for the icon has finally came.
C.M.
