After a lot of fun spent exploring islands in Lake Holcombe, we bid farewell to Wis Wild Weasel, who said..."I'll be on the couch!" and rayfamilywithbeagles who said..."Absolutely, go get them, don't wait for me!" Birdin' has walked this ice once before a couple years back, but it's always fun to return. As we neared the island we thought....no tracks. Once on the island, saw snowshoe tracks coming in from another side, heading right where the Garmin said the cache would be. Oh, right. rayfamilywithbeagles was here yesterday! We walked by the cache one time but on the return trip out, Trekkin' spotted it. Guess all this nasty cold weather was good for something, because the ice was solid as concrete today. SL TFTC

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
