Found it BaSHful found SNAP! Challenge Cache

Wednesday, February 8, 2017Southern England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar on a rather gloomy day but it did at least stay dry and was not unduly cold for the time of year. The Hampshire Event was the target end to the day, which shaped all that went before. We started early from Dorking and swept Westward through Guildford, Farnham and at Alton turned South until we reached the outskirts of Portsmouth from which it was a small hop to the event. Challenge caches and Church Micros made up the bulk but we also managed to pick off two more of the Surrey A-Z series, a couple of SideTracked, a Fine Pair, a terrain 5 and an anniversary cache.

Next stop, the four challenge caches in these woods, which provided a pleasant walk, though traffic noise intruded a bit. Last of four and the hint item is obvious. However, the cupboard is bare! Took a photo and showed it to the CO at the event this evening and she's kindly allowed us to claim a find. Geochecker offers up these 31 caches:-

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
