Found it colincactus found Look to the Skies

Saturday, November 3, 2012South East England, United Kingdom

After doing Natterjacktoads brilliant Halloween caches on Tuesday (Halloweeneen) we went to the local pub. The conversation moved onto her puzzles and I teased her a little about her tendency to archive them before I've picked them up. CroquetMike mentioned how much he liked Bashful's Surrey Resuscitation Challenge GC2HD75. No chance of one of NJTs being resuscitated I thought.

When I got home I had a look at the Fernhurst puzzles that I hadn't solved. I remember having had a look at this one when it came out but not getting anywhere. I thought I'd give it another go that night and immediately spotted something. Out tumbled some numbers, and the geochecker said yes. If only I'd done that at lunchtime I could've picked it up while I was there. It was then that I noticed the date - it had only one day to go until it was up for resuscitation (CroquetMike having found it before last years Halloween event on Oct 31st).

So we decided to go to pick it up this morning. Bobcat found it - an easy find. Signed the log and swapped the toy gun for a little car.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
