Found it BaSHful found Double Whammy Challenge

Tuesday, October 8, 2013Southern England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar for our regular weekly foray. The day started chilly but soon warmed up so that we were enjoying a beautiful sunny day. It did, however start to cloud over from mid-afternoon and as we went into early evening some intermittent drizzle arrived, though fortunately not enough to stop us carrying on. A complete mixture of caches were on the menu for today; Earthcaches, Challenge caches, Church Micros (of course) and some interesting difficulty, terrain combinations. All in all an excellent day, despite a couple of failures along the way.

Getting the grid for the first time is hard. Getting it for the second time not quite so bad but it still took time to get to that rarest of combinations, the D1.0/T4.5. However, as at the time of logging I find I am only two short of completing the feat for the third time! An easy find today, in what felt like the wrong location. I have replaced it at a spot consistent with the terrain rating and hint. Fav point awarded.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
