Found it Strider's Ride found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 08 November 2009Alberta, Canada

BCP458 Strawberry Ridge

After completing the Corkscrew mountain hike so early in the day, it left us with plenty of time to go after this one. If we had parked just a bit further up the road, we would have found the elusive cutline on our way up & thus avoided a few hundred metres of hiking through some wicked blowdown, but in the end it didn't slow us down much & we were soon scouring GZ for the cap. Red Rouge made the find (which was becoming a theme today) & after cache hiding ceremonies were dispensed with the trip down to the Pathfinder (aka Rob's music machine) was made by connecting with the cutline & therefore, a much easier route out.
Mission Accomplished!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
