There is very little information about the Granada POW Camp that can be found.Other than some locals knowledge and a small amount of information that ratroot and myself have gleaned from some locals there isnt an awful lot on the internet.I believe that may be because this camp was a "seconday" camp or transit camp. The more famous camps in Lethbridge and Medice Hat seem to get all the writeups. Down the road in Nojack was a real Prison Camp which is a little bit more famous because of the workload that these inmates/prisoners did within the local communitys.
All said and done it is still pretty cool to visit this area and see the actual buildings just down the road at rat roots "Prisoner of War" cache.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
