Found it colincactus found Another Mouth

Saturday, February 23, 2013Southern England, United Kingdom

We came along here after the Esscafe 10 year event.

This cache is nearly 8 years old. We haven't found that many of the older caches but last week I'd decided to make a special effort to look for them. Many of the newer ones are just "cache and dashes", and I much prefer something that involves more of a walk. Older caches are often in more interesting places too.

We parked at the Privett Centre next to the church. Its a really big church for a tiny village isn't it. We decided we'd have a look inside first and so spent ten minutes walking around reading about the Nicholson family, how the MCC bought Lords, and gin. All interesting stuff - I'd recommend it.

Then on to find the cache. A bit muddy along the field but no worries. An easy find by my son Bobcat. That's a big drop down to the mouth isn't it.

We swapped TBs here. Richiecactus dropped off a coin and we immediately picked it up, and left the Minotaur TB in the cache.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
