Found it colincactus found Streaker Challenge #1: Best Day vs Longest Streak

Sunday, July 15, 2012South East England, United Kingdom

I'd started on RubyShoos Blockbuster Challenge last October (great fun) and then noticed these Streaker Challenges had also come out. I saw that I'd already qualified for the first two, missed by just one day for the third and were miles off for the other two.

I've been thinking about trying to do the Forty Sortie challenge soon (40 puzzles in a day). But since my best streak is only 21 (my best day is currently 20) then that would then un-qualify me for this challenge again. So we had to get this one first.

RubyShoos had come over to Guildford to get my QTF Challenge two days ago, so we decided that we'd return the favour and come to Kent today.

We set off early and parked up at 9am. We finally got back to the car at 11:20 totally exhausted . We'd successfully got this one (which was the whole purpose of the journey) but had failed with #2 (which we'd tried first). We couldn't find the footpath in and had walked around in a huge circle up and down the hills gradually spiralling in on the GZ. We gave up on #2 after about half an hour of searching and moved onto #1 which thankfully was an easy find.

My statistics page is viewable (currently my best streak is 21 and my best day is 20). However I'll also attach a screenshot as hopefully my best day will soon be higher than that.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
