Found it Yellow Trickster found Urban Puzzle: The Second

Friday, 27 June 2003Washington

Found it on my FIRST TRY!!! Just kidding... as anyone who has had this on their watch list knows I've had quite a tough time with this one. I've searched for this one every day for the past eight days including randomly wandering the streets of Bellevue looking for a place described on the cache page.

I pull up to the area where the cache is hidden and no sooner do I get out of my car than a snoopy man with his two children wanders by. He shouts 'Hello' from a distance but I pretend not to hear not wanting to get into a conversation. He raises his voice so I turn and reply with 'Hey' and he goes away. I search the cache area as he watches me from a distance. I find the cache while he watches but am cautious to pick it up and give away the location to what I think might be another cacher! He disappears, I sign the log and replace the cache. No sooner do I get to my car and there's a Bellevue police officer standing there asking what's going on. I explain.

This cache replaces 4 Oh 5 Troll as my most frustrating cache found.

Took Bob's dollar and left Wee Gun travel bug.

Thanks to all those who provided little nudges and then the final push I needed to solve this one!

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
