Found it Black Shark found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, April 18, 2015Alberta, Canada

BCP514 Stonehenge

A previous intention to visit this cache was thwarted by lack of time. We knew that we would be cheating ourselves with a quick visit--this is not that type of cap! When we mentioned it to ManjaLou they, too, were excited and it became our most anticipated BCP.

We had to work our way here so we looked forward to it all day. As the afternoon sped by we were forced to winnow out some stops but finally we arrived. It was well worth the wait and a grande finale for our cap finds! That is one heavy cover and it reminded Mr Shark of his plan to build a tool to make these easier. After gathering the logging requirements we wandered around, peered through holes, took in the views and satisfied our curiosity. We still left with questions; pity there isn't a sign here about the feature.

Thanks so much for bringing us here, outforthehunt! We really enjoyed all of our cap finds today plus 666 Ranchlands and 603 Bermondsey which we revisited with ManjaLou. Every one had something special to show us that we would have missed otherwise! Thanks also to PDOP's and van der Decken for their support pages.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
