#3997 found @ 12:09:00, cache 1 of 3 today, geostreak Day #158.

I needed to find three caches today to get my total up to 3999 so I can hit 4000 at my Birthday event tomorrow in Chelmsford. So we chose to go for a trip to Brentwood where there would also be some more for Alistair to find which I have already logged.

This was the first target. I had found out where part 2 might be so we chanced that we might be able to find it. Found the final after PAF - part 1 only works to indicate part 2 from about 1 foot away now, so it's pretty tricky if you don't know where it is!

I'm sure the CO will be able to sort it out with some fresh batteries. I only realised the cache was disabled when I got home to log it online. Thanks for the fun here.

TFTC, Cache In Hand 64

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
