Found it DanOCan found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, 27 June 2008Alberta, Canada

BCP067: Calgary (Stanley Park)

I decided (as always! ) to leech off the efforts of others and go find this cap while it was still uncovered and exposed. (Thanks van der Decken!)

It was a nice easy find today and still will exposed. I added a small piece of survey tape to the bush above the cap to aid future seekers.

Such a nice day out I ended up taking an extra long lunch hour specifically to hunt down this cap and then Stash n Dash. I'll post the link to my picture once Photobucket lets me login again -- after all these years it suddenly decided my password is no longer valid.

EDIT: Photo is now up. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/DanOCan/Geocaching/0627081203.jpg

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
